NPG has launched the National Public Sector Telecoms Framework, designed to provide the wider public sector with access to new and innovative technologies from a broad range of suppliers.
The Telecoms framework is designed to be an EU compliant route for the provision of convenient, reliable and high-quality telecommunication solutions across six Lots:
Lot 1 -Integrated and Unified Communications Solutions
Lot 2 – IP Telephony, Voice over IP Services and Call Tariff Packages
Lot 3 – Wide Area Network (WAN), Virtual Private Network (VPN) and Broadband Services
Lot 4 – Local Area Network (LAN) and Associated Services
Lot 5 – PABX Systems, PSTN Lines, Call Tariff Packages and Billing Solutions
Lot 6 – Mobile, Devices, Airtime and Services
In addition to providing access to a comprehensive suite of service and solutions, the framework provides free of charge technical support services. This is specifically designed to inform understanding and specification creation, be it basic advice or in-depth consultation.
Further benefits include a rich and varied choice of market leading suppliers, as well as choice of contracting methods. There is more choice when it comes to either awarding business directly to your preferred supplier through direct award, or alternatively engage in a Further Competition in pursuit of additional added value. Should you select the Further Competition route, a support service designed to remove all associated risks is available whereby qualified procurement specialists undertake the Further Competition on your behalf.
If you have any questions about the particulars of the framework and/or its use, please do not hesitate to contact the framework Contract Manager, Steve Davies on 07966 040564.
